An age-worthy and medium-bodied merlot with aromas of plum, baking spices, and vanilla bean and flavors of mocha, cola, allspice.

These Merlot grapes were grown in Washington state's Red Mountain, Walla Walla, and Horse Heaven Hills AVAs. The grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks. Juice pump-overs were carried out twice a day to insure full extraction of color and flavor. After malolactic fermentation was complete, the wine was pressed and racked to French Oak barrels (27% new) for 18 months of maturation.
