This "late harvest" style dessert wine is deliciously sweet with pineapple and orange blossom aromas in the glass followed by flavors of fresh pineapple and honeysuckle.
Gewurztraminer and Riesling grapes were intentionally left on the vines past their typical harvest date to develop a higher sugar content. Gewurztraminer was harvested at 26% sugar and Riesling at 24% sugar. Both were then pressed into juice and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 55°F to preserve their naturally luscious fruit flavors.
