Our Story

Arrington Vineyards opened its door July 1, 2007. From the beginning we have been striving to provide a “wine country experience” with award-winning wines set in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee owned by country music legend Kix Brooks, master vintner Kip Summers, and Nashville businessman John Russell. Our vineyards were originally established in 2003 when Kip Summers and a fellow wine enthusiast purchased a 25 acre hog farm. In 2004, Kix Brooks purchased the farm adjacent to the original vineyards which included the farmhouse that would be repurposed for our tasting room and first retail space.

In April of 2007 we were officially licensed, the wine and equipment was moved in, and bottling began. We quickly made our mark on producing award-winning wine when our 2004 vintage of Syrah won “Best of Show” at the Wines of the South competition and we quickly sold out of our 2005 vintage of Syrah. In 2008, John Russell joined our Arrington Vineyards partnership as we continued to expand and began distribution throughout middle Tennessee via Lipman Brothers. Our exclusive “Kix’s Wine Club” came to fruition in 2009 and we now ship to thousands of club members. Our wine club has continued to grow and reaches members all over the United States.

Since our inception, we have been focused on quality while continuing to grow. As we have grown, we acquired the west side of our property that includes our Barn, Stone House, and Vineyard House. Our Barn is open as an additional retail space and Music in the Vines venue April through October. Our Vineyard House is home to our Elevated Experiences that take traditional wine tastings to the next level. We transformed our Pavilion into a one stop destination for all of your Arrington Vineyards needs including wine flights, bottles to purchase, merchandise, and snack foods. We have become a destination for tourists visiting Nashville and if you join us on a weekend in the height of spring or fall, you will see our hillside full of families and friends enjoying their picnics and Arrington Vineyards wines.
