A full bodied classic Cabernet with complex aromas of chocolate-cherry, cedar and currant, followed by a cherry, currant and plum flavors with hints of cola and clove.
Not yet entered into any competition.
Made from grapes sourced from Yakima, WA (52%), Red Mt., WA (23%) and Sonoma, CA (15%). Petit Verdot was added (6.3%) for tannin structure and deep dark color. Also, Syrah was added (3.2%) for extra fruit complexity. Aged for 18 months in French (65%) and American (35%) oak barrels. French oak added complex spice and cocoa notes. The American oak added hints of clove and cola. This wine should age very well.
